Soil and Situation:Any soil, any aspect, any position – there are some plants that disaprove the addage ‘too good to be true’ and Elaeagnus x ebbingei ‘Limelight’ is one of them.

Maintenance: Extremely easy to grow, requiring just an annual trim. Cut back any especially long and/or out-of-place shoots with secateurs. Any new growth displaying plain green foliage should be cut right back.

Versatility: As a specimen plant it will bring year-round cheer to any border or shrubbery. Equally, it can be easily clipped to form an attractive informal hedge.
