Versatility: Lonicera nitida Baggesen’s Gold AGM can perform just about any role in the garden: clipped as hedging or edging; a specimen plant in the ground or container or planted as tall groundcover – it works particularly well under established trees or against dark-green foliage like rhododendrons. It’s a like-for-like alternative to box if you want something brighter – it even makes an excellent plant for topiary.
And finally:This cultivar was introduced by the Baggesen family that hailed from Denmark and settled in Kent. The full story of this remarkable family of plantsmen is covered in our blog..
