Lavender Little Lady
Hardy, compact, versatile and wonderfully fragrant, Little Lady’s delicate blue flowers subtly and sympathetically extend the Lavender palette. Use for formal and informal planting – even if you garden by the sea.
Maintenance: Carefully trim in April and cut back after flowering.
Versatility: Thanks to its compact form, Little Lady is a great choice for formal edging and ground cover. Equally successful in containers and bedding – and in coastal gardens. Little Lady makes an excellent companion to and backdrop for architectural plants. A particular favourite of bees, butterflies and flower arrangers either cut fresh or dried.
And Finally: Little Lady is one of those Lavenders that is often compared to that most popular of all, Lavender Hidcote. And while Hidcote undoubtedly deserves its place in any garden, Little Lady is just as attractive and a little hardier so should be considered if you are planting en masse.
