HedgeXpress (a business name of JBS Nurseries Limited) is the data controller for personal data about customers, prospective customers, job applicants, and our current and former employees. We do not trade personal data for commercial purposes, and will only disclose it if required by law, where necessary to fulfil your order, or with your consent.

What we collect and why

As a customer, we will hold the following information about you:

• Name and contact information — so we can process and deliver your order and answer your enquiry.
• Delivery address — so we can get your plants to you.
• Billing and payment information — handled by our payment provider (see below); we do not store card details ourselves.

We use your personal data where it is in our legitimate interests for the internal purposes associated with running our business, to fulfil our contract with you, and to meet our legal obligations. We use your information to invoice you and to keep track of payments you make. We retain information about you for the duration of our relationship with you.

We use the following third-party services to run this website. Each processes only what it needs to:

We endeavour to take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information. Data collected by us is stored on secure servers, and this website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe on their own secure infrastructure.

• The right to access what data we hold about you.
• The right to object to direct marketing — use the unsubscribe option or contact us directly.
• The right to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests.
