The leaves are a medium tone of green which have a vine like style to them.
Anemone Queen Charlotte (Japanese Anemone) is not only a handsome plant, it is also incredibly hardy, resilient and versatile. Able to grow in full sun to partial shade it can brighten up the area very quickly. It can be placed in either exposed or sheltered positions and has a RHS hardiness rating of H7, meaning it can survive the coldest European winters to below -20C.
Simply plant Anemone ‘Queen Charlotte’ anywhere which is not deep shade in soil which is free to moderately free draining. This makes it ideal for: costal; cottage and informal gardens and flower borders and beds.
To maintain this beautiful perennial simply cut off the heavy flowers once they have turned in Autumn, then remove the dead and tatty leaves in March.
