Astrantia ‘Snow Queen’ carries intricate, papery white pincushion flowers above ferny foliage through summer.
Free click & collect from the nursery, or delivery on larger orders.
A choice woodland-edge perennial (masterwort) with deeply cut green leaves and branching stems of pretty, star-like white flowers, each a pincushion of tiny florets ringed by papery bracts.
It flowers through summer, is excellent for cutting, and settles happily into cottage borders, wall-side beds and dappled woodland planting.
It prefers moist, humus-rich soil in sun or partial shade — keep it watered until established, as it can wilt in full sun while its roots settle.
Every plant we sell is backed by four decades of growing. Tell us about your garden and we’ll tell you honestly whether this is the right plant for it.
