Brunnera macrophylla ‘Jack Frost’ (Siberian bugloss) is a bushy, herbaceous, perennial has heart shaped silvery, green leaves which get paler and more silvery towards the permitter and they have dark green veins. It prefers well drained to moist soils but can tolerate drier ones after it has it established itself. It does very well in partial to full shade and prefers sheltered positions. It is a hardy with an RHS hardiness rating of H6 meaning it is hardy throughout the UK and Northern Europe down to temperatures between -15C and -20C.

Brunnera macrophylla ‘Jack Frost’ (Siberian bugloss) has delicate, dainty, blue flowers which come out between April and May on stems above the bush heart shaped leaves. For the best variegation shade is important. It makes for a gracious ground cover and is moderately quick growing.
