A neat, evergreen ornamental grass forming a low fountain of narrow leaves, each broadly striped creamy-gold with fine green margins. It holds its colour right through winter.
Its compact size makes it perfect for edging paths, framing beds, containers and Japanese-style planting, and it is happy in most soils and light levels.
Grow in full sun to partial shade in well-drained but not bone-dry soil.
