About Iris pallida ‘Variegata’

A striking, architectural iris whose upright, sword-shaped leaves are boldly striped cream and grey-green, bringing structure and light to a border from spring to autumn.

In late spring and early summer it sends up sturdy stems of soft lavender-blue flowers with a sweet, distinctive fragrance.

Grow in full sun in free-draining soil, with the rhizomes near the surface so they can bake in the sun.
