A low, carpeting perennial (dead nettle) whose silvery leaves, edged in green, light up shady corners all season. In early summer it adds a scatter of pure white flowers.
It is one of the best plants for tricky, shaded spots, quickly covering ground beneath trees and shrubs and along shady borders while staying low and tidy.
Grow in partial to full shade in moist but well-drained soil.
