A tidy, deciduous grass forming a dense fountain of fine green foliage. From late summer it produces masses of soft, fluffy flower spikes that open creamy-white and mature to warm buff, catching the light and moving in the breeze.
The foliage turns a lovely golden hue in autumn, extending the season. It is ideal in borders, gravel gardens and mass plantings, and works well for cutting.
Grow in full sun in well-drained soil; drought-tolerant and low-maintenance once established.
