A neat, dwarf version of the much-loved Verbena bonariensis, with the same clusters of fragrant, violet-purple flowers on slender stems but a tidier, more manageable habit.
It flowers for months from summer until the frosts, is a butterfly and bee magnet, and is ideal for containers, the front of a border and smaller gardens.
Grow in full sun in free-draining soil. Leave the stems over winter and cut back in spring.
