Bergenia ‘Bressingham White’ (Elephant’s ears ‘Bressingham White’) is a clump forming, evergreen, versatile perennial with a striking bell like white flower, often with a flush of pink between April and May. They prefer moist but well drained soil and they are not fussy about the type. Position in full sun to partial shade in exposed or sheltered position. Bergenia ‘Bressingham White’ is fully hardy in the severe UK and European winters with an RHS hardiness rating of H6 meaning they can survive temperatures down to between -15C to -20C.
Bergenia ‘Bressingham White’ is generally low maintenance, simply remove the flowerhead after flowering and dead foliage. This hardy resilience, versatility and low maintenance means it makes for the perfect ground cover making it popular amongst landscapers.
