Euonymus ‘Green Spire’ (Euonymus ‘Green Rocket’) is not susceptible to blight or caterpillar and is perfectly situated in most free draining soils, whether it be sand, clay or loam and is unfussy about the pH. ‘Green Spire’ grows best in full sun but can survive light shade and prefers to be sheltered from strong winds.
Euonymus ‘Green Spire’ (Euonymus ‘Green Rocket’) is fully hardy within the UK with an RHS hardiness rating of H6, meaning it can survive temperatures down to -15C to -20C. ‘Green Spire’ is suited to many types of garden, including: City and Courtyard gardens, costal, cottage and informal, banks and slopes and patios.
In relation to maintenance, Euonymus ‘Green Spire’ (Euonymus ‘Green Rocket’) should be pruned immediately after flowering in late spring to early summer. If left unpruned it can reach 1m in height and 0.5m in width.
