Find Herbaceous/Perennials with Hedge Xpress

Here at Hedge Xpress, Bampton we grow our own perennials and herbaceous plants, helping to improve and supplement your garden beds and borders, helping to supply interest throughout the year.

Perennials are plants which live for several years and flower year after year.

Herbaceous plants are non woody plants.

Perennials can make a great addition to any garden, below we have listed some ways they can be used:

  1. Low maintenance: Perennials come back year after year, so once they are established, they require less maintenance than annuals. This can save time and effort in the long run.
  2. Long-lasting colour: Many perennials bloom for weeks or even months, providing long-lasting colour to the garden. They also come in a wide range of colours, so it’s easy to find ones that complement the rest of the garden.
  3. Wildlife habitat: Perennials can attract pollinators, such as bees and butterflies, to the garden. They can also provide food and habitat for other wildlife, such as birds.
  4. Versatility: Perennials come in a wide range of shapes and sizes, so they can be used in a variety of ways in the garden. They can be used as ground cover, border plants, or as a focal point.
  5. Cost-effective: While perennials may cost more than annuals initially, they are a cost-effective choice in the long run because they don’t need to be replanted each year.

Overall, perennials are a great choice for gardeners looking for low-maintenance, long-lasting colour in their gardens. They offer a range of practical and aesthetic benefits and can be used in a variety of ways to enhance the overall look and feel of the garden.
